The facilities at Kirkley Hall Zoo are set in the beautiful Northumberland countryside, just a few miles from Ponteland and Morpeth.

There is something for everyone here and it makes the perfect day out or place to visit for the entire family.

Dogs
Kirkley Hall is a great place bring your 4 legged friends as the River and Forest trail and our gardens are lovely places to go for a walk. However, they are not allowed in either the zoo or either of our cafes so plan your trip carefully.

Parking
We have a plenty of parking onsite in addition to an overspill car park, this is free to all customers. There are several marked disabled parking bays.

Picnic areas
We have a number of picnic benches and grassed areas around the site which you are welcome to use.

Baby changing facilities
We have baby changing facilities both in the Orangery Tea Room and at the zoo.

Disabled access
Kirkley Hall Zoological Gardens and the Orangery Tea room are both wheelchair and pushchair friendly. However, unfortunately due to the terrain of the river and forest trail it is not advised that you try to access this area.
